Major Assistance & Support Programs Undertaken from January 1999 to date at Government Girls Home – Kellys, Chennai:
Under ground sump, motor, piping, over head tank for kitchen and dining hall building with new kitchen equipment and yearly maintenance. With assistance from Rotary Club, a full-fledged computer centre for regular training and also literacy, numeracy classes. New clothes and undergarments for children besides regular special breakfast and occasional feasts through donors every year. Trunk boxes, tumblers and plates for children. New motor for bathrooms. With Assistance of Rotary Club a Vocational Training Centre with 7 tailoring machines to train adolescents with an instructor Painting and tiling of dormitory for 100 girls. Birthday celebrations for children in the home every month. Screen printing items, TV, sports items. Buckets, drums, guide books, and stationery. Uniform and notebooks for +1 and +2 children every year. Field trip every year for orphan children. New TV and speaker sets. Emergency lights, and Drinking water supply during 2005 floods. Resource Centre with educational material and toys. Hygiene kits for the children. (Clearing of accumulated garbage and vermicomposting pit setup with source segregation facilities)

Government Children’s Home – Ranipet:
Complete electrical rewiring and renovation for the dormitory including replacement of switches and piping Sports equipment and tree saplings

Government Children’s Home – Chengalpet:
Sports equipment Cotton pants Maths teacher for extra coaching during 2001-2002

Government Children’s Home Royapuram:
Tiling of 2000 sq ft dormitory for children. Renovated bathrooms for children. Classroom and toilets – 2 each. Computer centre and training facility for children with assistance from Rotary Club, for regular training, literacy, and maths classes. Birthday celebrations for children in the home every month. Occasional Special breakfast and feasts through donors. Play ground equipment- seesaw, swing, and slide. New kitchen equipment. School bags for the children. Vocational training program on making soap powder, soap, incense sticks, Files and folders, screen printing, with the help of NSIC trainees. Hygiene kits including mats, towels and one set uniform. Resource and play centre for a batch of 30 children.

Government Observation Home for boys and girls – Kellys, Chennai:
Tiling of dormitory and 3 bathrooms. Vocational training centre with screen printing, carpentry, stencil lettering, banner painting, two wheeler and cycle repair, and electrical wiring learning facilities. Occasional Special breakfast and feasts through donors Job opportunity and vocational training and guidance for inmates on completion of cases. Hygiene items, indoor and outdoor play material, books and literacy classes. (Bike mechanic course conducted for over 300 children)

Government Hospital for Thoracic medicine - Tambaram:
2500 sq feet O.P Shed at the entrance for patients. 700 sets of steel plates and tumblers for patients.

Government Vigilance Home - Kutchery Road, Chennai:
Undergarments, Bed sheets, soap, shampoo, milk and bread for inmates and their children. Breakfast sweet porridge powder for pregnant and ailing women and girls. Counseling and guidance for exploited women and girls. With Assistance of Rotary Club a Vocational Training Centre with 7 tailoring machines, tailoring instructor.

Government After Care Home for Boys – Athur
Play material and library books. (Used Ambassador car for their Automobile mechanic course)

Government After Care Home for Girls - Vellore
Screen printing material. Electrical and wiring course material. Computer for training on DTP. 35 Meters of cloth for tailoring unit. Consumables for running vocational courses.

Government After Care Home for Girls – Vellore
Screen printing material. New TV. Sports equipment. Carpentry equipment. Additional ration of provisions for special occasions. Proposed bike for mechanic course. Salary for two Teachers to coach the children to write 10th exams. Books, notebooks and stationery for 65 boys.

Chennai Central Prison:
Used clothes for inmates leaving the prison. New Sports items every year for the Youth offenders. Spiritual and moral books for library. Regular inspection visits and meeting regarding prison facilities and prisoners welfare.

Government Balwadi Centres : No:s 964, 966, 990 991 in Velachery & Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai:
Montessori material and training to the teachers. Volunteers – local and International. 2 trained Montessori teachers for Balwadis 991, 990 from Aug 2005.

Tsunami Relief Related - with help of donors:
School kits and uniform to nearly 2000 children affected by Tsunami in Kanchipuram, Chennai and Thiruvallur Districts. Renovation of Village Health centre at TSPettai Chidambaram. Renovation of Government Balwadi centre at T.S.Pettai. Playground equipment and science materials for Government High School and Balwadi centre. Classroom Buildings, and salary for teachers for one year, for a primary school in Injambakkam affected area serving the affected children.
