Improved living conditions for identified project sites for children, improved educational standards for identified groups of children, support for orphan adolescents to achieve economic independence.

 

How much donation is needed?

 

Our running costs with 7 cost centres require Rs 100,000/- a month including staff salaries, consumables, training costs and educational sponsorships for children. This expenditure does not include infrastructure improvement. 50% of our costs are covered by our regular donors. The rest has to be funded from other sources.

 

How does Relief Foundation ensure that the donation will have an impact?

 

There is no duplication of sponsorships, the project venue is identified after a lot of spadework and research, good relationships with functionaries in the existing system ensure that funds reach the target group directly.

Individuals and corporations contribute regularly to Relief Foundation’s efforts. Shasun Group of Companies donate regularly to our projects. Shriram Group of Companies utilizes our expertise to improvise their social projects. Other corporate foundations also work closely with us contributing materially and monetarily for our projects. Relatives and friends known to us donate in small amounts regularly. At times, some foreign donors chip in when our international volunteers make presentations about us to them.
